Her quick rise to fame shouldn’t be a shock to anyone. She followed up her Prada walk with a closing moment on the Miu Miu runway as exclusive in Paris, and even opened the show. Since then she’s appeared on the runway for designers including Oscar de la Renta, Jason Wu, Yves Saint Laurent, Rag & Bone, Ruffian, Lascote, DKNY, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Versace, Missoni, and Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief.
Though Meisel was the first photographer to fall under the Wixson spell, he’ll hardly be the last. Gabrielle Revere spotted Lindsey backstage during Fashion Week and decided to trail her in order to create a photoset for Life magazine, featuring the fresh faced beauty’s experiences –fittings with Jason Wu, castings, and traveling on the subway.
Between flying to and from fashion capitals for jobs, Lindsey still lives at home in Wichita, KS with her parents while attending school. Though she can strut down the catwalk like any of the regulars, Lindsey enjoys the highlights of teenage life, including high school and prom, in between wearing couture and posing for celebrated photographers, of course.
