Dia Frampton...not just a beautiful voice...
Dia Frampton's blog
This 23-year-old singer-songwriter from St. George, Utah is half Korean and half Dutch. Her career aspiration has been to be a voice-over actress, but her considerable singing talents may just steer her elsewhere. A life-long bookworm, Dia also writes novels and children's books.
This is the pretty dress I'm talking about. I wonder who designed it?
So incredibly chic and feminine.

Jordan Klein
By Ray Onzuka
Published: May 14, 2011
The past two nights showcased extremely talented designers, all of whom are ready to make their stitch into the globe-enveloping cloth of the fashion industry. Personal Best of Show favorites include both Los Angeles designer Jordan Klein (not Calvin Klein, though just as flooring) and Darkheart Eco Apparel from the Men’s Fashion Night and H.O.I.A.(House of Isaac Andrews) by Isaiah Whitmore from last night’s finale performance. Showcasing off-white pastels with thick combat boots, sweat-pant material displayed truly as a ready-to-wear ensemble, and asymmetrical skirts flowing long in back and high in front, respectively, each designer led the show with their unique innovation and inspiring trend setting. Some of the largest showcased trends included sky high funnel collars on both men and women apparel, featured on a zipped, Jordan Klein camel coat and a wedding dress fit for Ms. Gaga via Andrea Voss’ Voss Rock designs. The Finerie’s Built For Man and Jordan Klein presented chunky knit scarves over open shawls with a Navajo touch of earth; they were heavy enough for the layered winter traveller and light enough to bring your well-dressed man into Spring. Last but not least, leather minis and giant knits created a one of a kind, in-cohesively cohesive team in both the H.O.I.A. and The Finerie boutique lines.
Modern with a sexy undertone collection. Brilliant.

Alexander Wang Spring / Summer 2011
Alexander Wang
Barely out of college, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang has already taken the industry by storm, and the 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards nominee shows no signs of slowing down. Born and raised in San Francisco, Wang moved to New York City at eighteen to try his hand at designing clothes. After just one year of studying design at Parsons and interning at Teen Vogue, Wang launched an eponymous collection his sophomore year, immediately winning fashion editors over with his selection of perfectly crafted cashmere sweaters. Now, having expanded his line to include a full range of ready-to-wear pieces, from distressed boyfriend jeans and shrunken vests to, of course, covetable cozy cardigans, Wang has continued to make a name for himself with his signature "model-off-duty" style. With a growing cult embracing his street-smart approach to dressing—including catwalk queens (friend Erin Wasson is his in-house muse and runway stylist) and downtown dwellers alike—Wang may just be the coolest kid in Manhattan. —NAOMI NEVITT
