I think I am back!

yuvikachaube.blogspot.com no longer shows up in the list of most visited sites on my Google Chrome home page. Well to be honest nothing else shows up as well, except google.com, maybe.
Boy, it has been long!
But, guess what – I think I am back!

“I glanced at her and took my glasses
off--they were still singing. They buzzed
like a locust on the coffee table and then
ceased. Her voice belled forth, and the
sunlight bent. I felt the ceiling arch, and
knew that nails up there took a new grip
on whatever they touched. "I am your own
way of looking at things," she said. "When
you allow me to live with you, every
glance at the world around you will be
a sort of salvation." And I took her hand.”

- When I Met My Muse by William Stafford

There has been work, and then there has been more work. There have been moments of absolute disorientation, and then there have been moments of realization and acceptance. There have been days that flowed into each other seamlessly, and then there have been days that just refused to move on…In the organized chaos that life often offers I wonder if one would be better prepared for artless anarchy.

Yes, I have lots to talk about – and in the coming days will spam all the channels you have been kind enough to follow My Musings on! Also, a heartfelt thanks to all the loyal readers who kept checking on me and spared time to drop in a comment or two. If it’s fabulous to be read, it’s a greater high to be missed :)!

After all,
You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.

Camp Rock was produced by Alan Sacks and directed by Matthew Diamond. The film’s music was created by Paul Brown, Julie Brown, Karin Gist, and Regina Hicks. The movie is labeled as a musical, romantic family comedy.
The 94 minute film, starring the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Kevin and Joe – and Demi Lovato, is the story of a prestigious Rock Camp that every musically inclined kid dreams of attending. The films message is “Don’t fit in, stand out!”
The announcement for the summer movie was made back on January 25, 2008. The film was available earlier online (June 17) for Disney Channel OnDemand subscribers. Camp Rock was also available to watch online after its television airing – the first Disney Channel movie to ever be. Camp Rock was also the first Disney Channel movie to air on ABC Family (ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney). The June 21 showing on ABC was hosted by the Jonas Brothers.
The weekend of the premiere, the Disney Channel deemed “Camp Rock Weekend,” with the channel turning over hosting responsibilities to Demi, Joe, Nick, and Kevin.
Camp Rock has aired, or will be premiering, in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Spain, Brazil, Latin America, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Italy, and Southeast Asia.
The Camp Rock: Extended Rock Star Edition DVD and Blu-Ray Disc will be released on August 19, 2008 in the US, September 26, 2008 in Australia, and November 2008 in all other countries. The behind the scenes of the movie airs on the Disney Channel on July 13 at 8 PM.

Lorraine Nicholson
The frat boys were in for a surprise when sophomore Lorraine Nicholson moved into their house on the Brown University campus. The self-described “supernerd,” and daughter of Jack Nicholson and Rebecca Broussard, admits that her initial interaction with her housemates—a circumstance arising from Nicholson’s poor draw in the university housing lottery—consisted of her “waving my fist out my window like a granny, telling them to shut up, and they’re asking me, quite honestly, why I live in a fraternity.” But just as Nicholson’s collegiate living situation eventually found a happy medium, her burgeoning acting career forced her to take a semester sabbatical. Earlier this year, she headed to Hawaii to film Steve McNamara’s Soul Surfer, a film about how pro surfer Bethany Hamilton (played in the movie by AnnaSophia Robb) returned to the water after losing her left arm in a shark attack. Nicholson plays Hamilton’s best friend, Alana Blanchard, which required her to take an on-set crash course in wave riding. “The first lesson is impossible,” Nicholson admits. “You’re wondering how people do this all the time.” Nicholson grew up in L.A. but shied away from typical California beach activities, instead burying her head in books. Whether she returns to Brown next semester depends on whether the 1960s-era road movie Prettyface finally goes into production. If not, Nicholson will no doubt be found in the library. She has a particular fondness for Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead: “It’s amazing and full of sexiness, but also it’s philosophical and extremely smart,” says Nicholson. “The best combination of things.”
